
The Helsinki Roosters are the only Finnish team to have competed in the Vaahteraliiga every season since the league’s inception in 1980, making them the most successful American football team in Finland. With 23 league titles to their name, the Roosters are the reigning Finnish champions. Their achievements also include international success, having won the Eurobowl II in 1988 and the IFAF Europe Champions League in 2014.
The Roosters’ mission is to promote and sustain American football as a lifelong sport for participants of all ages, from youth programs to top-level national competition. Their continued success is built on strong, long-term junior development and a commitment to international collaboration.
